Do not use this apparatus n ear water.

Install in accordance wit h the manufacturers instruc tions.
Do not install near any heat sou rces such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves , or other apparatus (including amp li-
ers) that produce heat.
Do not defeat the safet y purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A po larized plug has two blades with
one wider than the othe r. A grounding type plug has two
blades and third grounding prong. T he wide blade or third
prong are provided for your safety. When th e provided
plug does not fi t into your outlet, cons ult an electrician for
replacement of the obsol ete outlet.
Protect the power cord from being w alked on or pinched
particularly at plu gs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from th e apparatus.
Only use attachment s/accessories specifi ed by the
manufacturer.
Use only with a cart , stand, tripod, bracket , or table
specifi ed by the manufacturer, or sold with th e
apparatus. When a ca rt is used, use caution when
moving the cart /apparatus combination to avoid injur y
from tip-over.
Unplug this apparat us during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of tim e.
Refer all servicing to qu alifi ed service personnel. Servicing
is required when the appar atus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is dam aged, liquid
has been spilled or objec ts have fallen into apparatus, the
apparatus has been e xposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has be en dropped.
Tilt/Sta bility
- All televisions must comp ly with
recommended internat ional global safety standard s for tilt and
stability proper ties of its cabinet design.
• Do not compromise these desig n standards by applying
excessive pull force to the front , or top, of the cabinet which
could ultimately overt urn the product.
• Also, do not endanger yoursel f, or children, by placing
electronic equipme nt/toys on the top of the cabinet . Such
items could unsuspect ingly fall from the top of the set and
cause product damage and /or personal injury.
Wall or Ceiling Mounting
- The appliance should be
mounted to a wall or ceiling on ly as recommended by the
manufacturer.
Power Lines
- An outdoor antenna shou ld be located away
from power lines.
Outdoor Antenna
Grounding
- If an outside antenna i s
connected to the receive r, be sure the antenna system is
grounded so as to provide some protec tion against voltage
surges and built up stati c charges.
Object and Liquid Entr y
- Care should be taken so that
objects do not fall and liq uids are not spilled into the enclosure
through openings.
Battery Usage CAUTI ON
- To prevent battery leakage th at
may result in bodily injury, proper ty damage, or
damage to the unit :
• Install all batte ries correctly, with + and - aligned as marked
on the unit.
• Do not mix batteries (old a nd new or carbon and
alkaline, etc.) .
• Remove batteries when th e unit is not used for a long time.

Damage Requiring Ser vice
- The appliance should be
serviced by qualifi ed service personnel when:
A. The power supply cord or the p lug has been damaged;
B. Objects have fallen , or liquid has been spilled into the
appliance;
C. The appliance has b een exposed to rain
D. The appliance does not appe ar to operate normally or
exhibits a marked chang e in performance;
E. The appliance has b een dropped, or the enclosure dam-
aged.

the apparatus.
The apparatus must be co nnected to a mains socket outlet
with a protected ear thed connection.
The appliance coupler is use d as the disconnect device of this
apparatus, the dis connect device shall remain readily oper-
able.
