3 Create curls and flicks

1Take a section of hair and place it between the heating plates.

2Wrap the hair once around the straightener with the hair covering over the upper part of the straightener. Hold on to the remaining hair so that it stays between the plates.

3Turn the straightener 180 degree inwards.

5Pull the straightener downwards along the hair and rotate

continuously in a downward motion until you reach the end of the hair.

1Straighten your hair as described in Chapter 2. As straightener gets close to the end of the hair tips, slowly rotate your wrist to turn the straightener in half-circle motion inwards (or outwards) till hair glides off the plates.

2Repeat the above step until you achieve the desired look.

1Switch off the appliance and unplug it.

2Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
