Install the batteries
Insert the batteries and slide the
battery door into place.
Charge handset
Place the handset on the base to
charge the batteries. The battery
icon is displayed.

Set up your phone
If the display shows the standby
screen, your phone is ready
to use.

• Scroll or to display the
correct code.
• Press to con rm.
The handset and base will reset
to load the correct settings and
the standby screen is displayed.
SE140 – your phone is ready
to use.
SE145 – your phone is ready
to use. The answering machine
is automatically set to On and
ready to record messages.
Warning
Leave the handset to charge for
at least 24 hours before rst use.
