1 The batter ies are pre-i nstalled in th e handset. Pull t he battery t ape off from the
battery door befo re charging.
2 Place the handse t on the base sta tion to power up.
Note:
Charge the batteries for 16 hours before rst use.

3Enjoy
Make a call
1 Press and dial the phone numb er; or
2 Dial th e phone number an d press to dial out the call.
Congure your phone (if necessary)
1 When yo u see the welcome me ssage, press [O K], select your count ry, press
[SELECT] to conrm.
The country setting is saved.

2 Set the d ate and time.
The phone is now ready to use.

Answer a call
When the phone rings, press or to answer the call.
End a call
Press .
Adjust the earpiece volume
Press or to adjust the volume during a call.
The adjusted volume level is shown on the screen.

Set the handset’s ringtone
1 Press m enu.
2 Selec t [PERSONAL S ET] > [HANDSE T TONES] > [RING TO NES],
then press [SELECT] to conr m.
3 Selec t a ringtone , then press [SELECT ] to conrm.
The setting is saved.

Add a record
1 Press m enu.
2 Selec t [PHONEBOOK] > [NEW ENTRY], the n press [SELECT] to con-
rm.
3 Enter t he name then pre ss [OK] to conrm .
4 Enter t he number, then pr ess [SAVE] to conrm.

Check the battery level
When the handset is of f the base stat ion/
charger, the icon indica tes the batter y
level:
Full (steady on)
Medium (ashing)
Low (empty)
When you see the empty b attery ico n and
hear an alert tone f rom the handse t, the
battery level is lo w and needs recha rging.
When the handset is on the base
station/charger, the bat tery icon keeps
ashing until char ging completes .
When the charging completes, the
battery icon keep s steady on.
