Adjusting initial settings

Initialsettings lets you per form initial setup of

differentsettings for this unit.

1Functiondisplay

Showsthe function status.

1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit

turnsoff.

2 PressAUDIO and hold until clock ap-

pearsin the display.

PressAUDIO repeatedly to switch between

thefollowing settings:

ClockFM(FM tuning step)AM (AM tuning

step)

Usethe following instructions to operate each

particularsetting.

#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND.

#Youcan also cancel initial settings by holding

downAUDIO until the unit turns off.

Setting the clock

Usethese instructions to set the clock.

1 PressAUDIO to select clock.

2 Presscor dto select the segment of

theclock display you wish to set.

Pressingcor dwill select one segment of the

clockdisplay:

HourMinute

Asyou select segments of the clock display

thesegment selected will blink.

3 Press+ or to set the clock.

Pressing+ will increase the selected hour or

minute.Pressing will decrease the selected

houror minute.

Turningthe clock display on or off

Youcan turn the clock display on or off.

%PressCLOCK to turn the clock display

onor off.

Eachpress of CLOCK turns the clock display

onor off.

#Theclock display disappears temporarily

whenyou perform other operations, but the clock

displayappears again after 25 seconds.

Setting the FM tuning step

TheFM tuning step employed by seek tuning

canbe switched between 100 kHz, the preset

step,and 50 kHz.

!Ifseek tuning is performed in50 kHz steps,

stationsmay be tuned in imprecisely. Tune

inthe stations with manual tuning or use

seektuning again.

1 PressAUDIO to select FM.

2 Presscor dto select the FM tuning

step.

Presscto select 50 (50 kHz). Press dto se-

lect100 (100 kHz).
