Super CLEAR Drive
An important innovation is Super CLEAR Drive technology. It processes the basic colour elements enabling the reproduction of an astonishing 1.07 billion colours. It also virtually eliminates false contouring and improves greyscale by increasing the gradation steps from 1/5000 to 1/32500.

Pure Colour Filter II
Pioneer’s innovative Pure Colour Filter II greatly decreases external light reflectivity. The result is significantlyhighercontrastthatprovidesanextremely clear display even in light intensive environments. It also reduces the unnecessary frequency components of the red, green and blue signals to deliver improved colour reproduction and purity. The Pure Colour Filter II enables viewers to enjoy sharp pictures with no reduction in black contrast.
