Die folgenden seriellen Befehle dienen der Emulation von Tasten der Fernbedienung. Jede Taste ist mit ihrem eigenen seriellen Befehl verbunden. Durch Eingabe serieller Befehle simulieren Sie also im Prinzip den Gebrauch der IR-Fernbedienung. Diese Befehle bewirken Bildschirmanzeigen, wie sie auch mit der Fernbedienung hervorgerufen werden.

Jeder Befehl beginnt mit mit [key, gefolgt von der vierstelligen Nummer der Taste. Es muss kein Wagenrücklaufzeichen eingegeben werden. Bei der vom Gerät im Falle eines gültigen Befehls empfangenen Antwort handelt es sich um eine rechte eckige Klammer (]), gefolgt von dem gesendeten vierstelligen, numerischen Code. (Der Befehl „AN“ hat beispielsweise das Format [key0015; die entsprechende Antwort lautet ]0015). Alle Befehle werden im ASCII-Format eingegeben.
