Hardware Installation

1.Power off your notebook computer.

2.Insert the eSATA CardBus Adapter into the Type II PC Card slot of your notebook computer.

3.Power on your notebook computer.

Driver Installation

For Windows® 2000

1.At Found New Hardware Wizard, click Next.

2.Select Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended) then click Next.

3.Insert the driver CD, check CD-ROM drives, uncheck the other boxes, click Next, then click Next again.

Note: If the Security Alert warning pops up, click Yes. Our driver has passed Microsoft compatibility test. This message appears during new installation.

4.Click Finish.
