Butyl rubber surrounds provide excellent resonance damping for better sound and high durability for many years of listening enjoyment. Ferro-Magnetic fluid-cooled 1" aluminum dome tweeter creates excellent dispersion off-axis and high frequency accuracy. Ferro-Magnetic fluid ensures high reliability.

Narrow baffle design geometry ensures a broad dispersion sound field even when mounted next to your TV. Enjoy huge, open and three dimensional imaging from a wide range of listening positions. High-quality gold plated 5-way binding post inputs ensure snug, reliable connections every time. Magnetically shielded for safe placement near TVs and video monitors.

HIGH VELOCITY ARRAY

High Velocity Array uses multiple small drivers rather than fewer large drivers, and there are several benefits to this approach. The first benefit is visual, resulting in a sleek, slim cabinet design, which means less visual intru- sion. Sonically, a slimmer cabinet means less diffraction- (sound bouncing off of a wide speaker’s face), and this gives a cleaner sound. Multiple small drivers increases the driver-to-motor structure ratio, which yields more accurate audio reproduction, quicker transient response and greater detail. Smaller drivers also have better dis- persion characteristics then larger drivers; better dispersion creates a larger sweet spot and more spectacular imaging. And finally, by spreading the amplifier power over multiple components instead of just one single component, the speaker can handle more power, move more air and play louder while maintaining reliability. High Velocity Array helps produce surprisingly huge sound in a slender speaker design such as the VM Series.
