Series 425T Cube
4-Ply Cube Filters
FOR USE AS AN EXHAUST FILTER
The 425T uses two distinct media layers sewn and welded together to form the cube. The first media layer is a 1.5” white/green/white triple 45/15/6 denier polyester media. This polyester media is treated on the inside with a special tackifier to help hold the paint particles to the mediia as they enter the filter. The second media layer is a tightly needled 1/4” 6 denier polyester media. This layer prevents the fine particles from exiting the filter.
Cube filters have a distinct advantage over flat pads (more surface area). An increase in surface area increases the amount of paint that can be captured in a given area and reduces the restriction to airflow. Cube filters are an ideal choice as a secondary level of protection against overspray. This second layer of defense aids in decreasing mainte- nance on exhaust equipment, reducing fire hazards due to exhaust buildup and decreasing the amount of overspray in the environment.
cubes are available with 1, 2, or 3 pockets. Each pocket further increases the paint holding capacity. There is also a choice of
Each media pack is welded around a 9 gauge wire support frame. The self supportive media is overlapping the frame by 1/2”, allowing the excess media to work as a gasket when the filter is installed.
