REAR SECTION

The onboard battery charger, the charger power cord receptacle, the battery charger fuse, the batteries, the electronic controller assembly, the main circuit breaker, the manual freewheel lever, and the motor/transaxle as- sembly are located on the rear section of your scooter. See IX. “Disassembly and Assembly” for instructions on removing the rear shroud. The anti-tip wheels are at the rearmost part of your scooter. See figure 7.

Onboard Battery Charger

The onboard 3-amp battery charger converts household alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) and charges the batteries of your scooter. See VI. “Batteries and Charging.”

νThe charger is located behind the batteries and at the forward right corner of the rear section.

νThe charger is a box with cooling fins on the exterior of its case.

νThe charger power cord plugs into the battery charger by means of a receptacle located on the rear section of your scooter, near the manual freewheel lever and the main circuit breaker reset button. See figure 7.
