8.Before you attach the label stock print a header of approximately 2 feet (61 cm) of label stock.
9.Feed the header under the dancer arm.
10.Attach the stock to the core using tape.
11.Turn on the rewinder.
12.Start your print job.
Section 4: Operation
During normal operation the following will occur.
1.When the dancer arm is in a central position, the unit is idle;
2.When the dancer arm is down, the unit rewinds the labels onto the core;
3.When the tension arm is up, the unit unwinds the labels;
During a job the rewinder will primarily switch between operation 1 and 2.
LX900 Users: Approximately every 5 labels the LX900 printer pulls labels back into the printer. In this case the dancer arm will go up and the labels will temporarily unwind back toward the printer. This operation is normal.
End of roll: When the printer and rewinder reaches the end of the roll the rewinder winds the remaining labels onto the core and the dancer arm will contact the base. This will cause the rewinder to stop. The rewinder will sound an acoustic signal when the roll is finish.
Speed Control: Depending the speed/quality of the print you may need to decrease or increase the speed of the rewinder. Increase the speed if the rewind operation can not keep up with the printing. Decrease the speed if the dancer arm seems to be jerking up and down as it rewinds labels.
