Targeted Scanning Mode
In order to read a bar code (switch option only)...
•press and hold the switch. An aiming pattern will appear.
•with the aiming pattern fairly centered over the bar code to be read, release the switch to read the label.

NOTE | in any orientation. |
The scanner will return to full pattern Omni | |
| Mode after a configurable time has elapsed. |
Troubleshooting
If the scanner is not operating properly, the following checks should be performed:
1.If the scanner uses an external power supply and the external power supply has failed, the scanner will not operate. Exchange the power supply with a known good power sup- ply and retest operation.

2.Verify the interface cable is securely attached to the host. Consult your technical support personnel or refer to your host system manual to verify the proper connection for the scanner.
