Follow these steps to install the battery.
1.If the Weatheradio is on, press the top bar to turn it off.
2.Press down the battery compartment cover and lift it off in the direction of the arrow.
3.Install a battery by connecting the bat- tery’s terminals to the battery connec- tor, then placing the battery inside the battery compartment. The battery fits only one way.
