Carefully consider a convenient location where your speaker will not get in the way, and yet project sound to the best advantage. You can mount it above or below a dashboard, on a rear deck or any other location. For mobile installations, keep in mind the safety and convenience of vehicle operation.
.Use the mounting bracket as a template and mark holes for drilling.
.Drill two 3/16" (4.5 mm) holes. Take care that you don't drill into existing wiring or trim.
.Mount the bracket with two tapping screws and speed nuts.
.Fasten the speaker between the bracket using the two thumb screws. Swivel the Speaker as desired and tighten the thumb screws securely.
.Insert the speaker's plug into the Transceiver's External Speaker (or Remote Speaker) jack. Secure the wire out of the way (use clamps or ties as required).
