Notes:

After 7 seconds, the charger automatically selects the appro- priate charging current.

The CHARGE indicator lights when the battery pack is charg- ing, automatically turns off when the battery pack finishes charg- ing, and flashes when the bat- tery pack fails to charge.

If the battery pack you want to charge is a new one or has not been used for more than 3 months, leave it in the charger for 24 hours, even if the CHARGE indicator turns off.

If the CHARGE indicator flashes, check the battery connection.

4.When the CHARGE indicator turns off, unplug the charger’s AC cord then disconnect the battery pack.

Notes:

High-capacity 7.2-volt, 1700 mAh, and 9.6-volt, 950 mAh bat- tery packs might require two charging cycles to fully charge.

When you disconnect a 4.8-volt or 9.6-volt battery pack from the compartment, be sure to take out the lower part of the battery pack first.

When you disconnect a 7.2-volt battery pack from the compart- ment, take out the upper part of the battery pack first.
