Do not mix battery types (Ni-Cd and Ni-MH).

Before connecting the charger to AC power, be sure all batteries are correctly installed according to polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment. Incorrectly installed batteries (polarity reversed) will not charge and can be damaged.

You can charge up to two AA and two AAA batteries of the same type in different compartments at the same time.

Batteries will not be damaged by leaving them in the charger until the timer turns it off.

To prevent damage to the charger and risk of shock, always unplug the charger from the AC outlet before you remove or replace the batteries.

Completely discharge Ni-Cd/Ni-MH batteries before charging them.

It is normal for the batteries to become warm while charging. .

1.To charge AA batteries, insert two or four AA batteries into the battery compartments, as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside each compartment.

To charge AAA batteries, push down the tabs on the top of the charger until you hear a “click”. Place two or four AAA batteries in the battery compartment as

indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside each compartment. ±

2.Slide the Ni-Cd/Ni-MH switch to the appropriate position to match the type of the batteries you are charging.

3.Lift the plug from the back of the charger and plug it into a standard AC outlet. The indicator lights to show that the batteries are charging.

4.When the batteries are fully charged, the red indicator

turns off. Unplug the charger from the AC outlet and remove the batteries. Rý
