Do not shred more than three folded sheets of paper at a time.

Do not shred wet paper or carbon paper.

To avoid serious injury, keep hair, neckties, jewelry, and fingers out of the shredder’s paper slot.

The shredder automatically stops if it has been continuously running for a long time. This is not a malfunc- tion.

If you were shredding when the shredder automatically stopped, let the shredder cool for about 20 min- utes before using it again.

Caution: If the shredder stops and the waste receptacle is full, do not hold down Rev/Stop/Auto. Empty the waste receptacle first, then hold down Rev/Stop/Auto toward Rev to clear any unshredded paper.

Always turn off then unplug the shredder before moving or cleaning it.

Do not attempt to repair the shred- der by yourself. Contact your local RadioShack store for help.

Never use the shredder if it has been dropped or the housing has been damaged.

CHOOSING A LOCATION

Choose a location for your shredder that is within 6 feet of a standard AC outlet and out of the way of normal activity.

Warnings:

Never place the shredder near or over heat or water sources.

Keep the shredder out of the reach of children.

INSTALLATION

1.Remove the upper part of the shred- der from the waste receptacle.

2.Place the waste receptacle on a flat surface.

3.Place the shredder on the waste receptacle and make sure the shredder is securely seated.

4.Plug the shredder’s power cord into a standard AC outlet.

OPERATION

1.Fold the paper you want to shred lengthwise so it is slightly narrower than the paper slot.

2.Set Rev/Stop/Auto to Auto. The shredder automatically turns on and shreds when paper is fed into the paper slot, then stops when the pa- per is shredded.
