Thank you for purchasing your 10W • Handheld Powerhorn from RadioShack. Please read this user’s guide before installing, setting up and using your new powerhorn. See back of page for detailed instructions.
Shoulder Strap
NOTE
Always set SIREN ON/OFF to OFF before installing batteries.
Install Batteries
Lift latch to open battery compartment.
Remove the two battery containers and insert four C batteries in each container.
Replace and secure latch when finished.
Latch
Lift latch to open battery compartment.
TALK Bar
Press when you speak to project your voice.
Slide to LOCK so you can speak for a long time without having to hold the TALK button.
Microphone
Hold the microphone about 5 inches away from your mouth when talking.
VOLUME
Rotate VOLUME to adjust the desired volume level.
SIREN ON/OFF
Turns siren on / off.
TALK Button
Press to talk.

Battery Notes
•Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury batteries.
•Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
•Do not mix batteries of different size or chemistries.
•If you do not plan to use your powerhorn for a long time, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
