Listening To Your Radio
Follow these steps to play your radio.
1.Rotate VOLUME/OFF/MAX clockwise until it clicks to turn on the radio.
2.Set the AM/FM/TV1/TV2 band selector to the desired band
Note: Extend the telescoping antenna to its full length when listening to FM or TV broadcasts. To improve AM reception, adjust the radio's position.
3.Set TUNING to the desired station.
Note: As you tune through the TV channels, you might hear a buzzing and hissing noise from the TV's signal. Set tuning very carefully to get the best sound.
4.Set TONE to HI or LO for the desired emphasis on high frequency sounds
5.Adjust VOLUME/OFF/MAX to a comfortable listening level.
6.Rotate VOLUME/OFF/MAX counterclockwise until it clicks to turn off the radio.
Using Earphones
Traffic Safety
Do not wear earphones while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can create a traffic hazard and is illegal in some areas. Even though some earphones are designed to let you hear some outside sounds when listening at normal volume levels, they still present a traffic hazard.
