Step One
Installing Batteries In the Transmitter
1.Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw from the battery
compartment, and remove the cover.
2.Place a 9 V battery (not supplied) in the compartment as
indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and

Battery Notes
•Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
•Do not burn or bury batteries.
•Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
•Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
•If you do not plan to use the bug for several days, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
•Batteries purchased for use in this toy may pose a hazard to children. Please check safety notice supplied with batteries before use.
Step Two
Replacing Batteries in the Bug
1.Turn off the Bug.

Step Three
Driving the Honey Bee I Bug
ON/OFF is set to ON when shipping. Slide it once to OFF and then to ON.
Use the transmitter's control buttons to drive and steer the Bug.
•Press Z to move forward.
•Hold down Úto spin clockwise.
•Hold down Ûto spin counterclockwise.
When you finish driving the Bug, turn it off.
Notes
•If you do not play with the Bug for about five minutes while it is turned on, it goes into sleep mode. To restart the Bug, slide ON/OFF on the Bug to OFF, then ON, or press Try me on.
•When the Bug goes outside the transmitter’s range, it stops. Hold the transmitter as high as possible (with the antenna vertical) to try to
