Rough

Anew disc may have rough edges on
itsinside and outside edges.If a disc
withrough edges is used, the proper
settingwillnot be performed and the
playerwill not play the disc.Therefore,
removetherough edges in advance
byusing a ball point pen or pencil as
shownon the right.To r emove the
roughedges, press the si de of th e pen
orpencil against the inside and outside
edgesof the disc.

DiscCleaning

Usea dry soft cloth to wipe the surface.
Ifthe disc is quite dirty, use a soft cloth
slightlymoistured with isopropyl (rubbing)
alcohol. Neveruse solvents such as
benzine,thinner or conventional record
cleanersas they may mar the surface of
thedisc.

Handlingand Cleaning

Dirt,dust, scratches and warping disc
willcause misoperation.
Donot place stickers or make
scratcheson discs.
Donot warp discs.
Adisc should always be kept in its
casewhen not in use to prevent from
damaging.
Donot place discs in the following
places:
1.Directsunlight
2.Dirty,dusty and damp areas
3.Nearcar heaters
4.Onthe seats or dashboard
