Choose a location indoors near a window so you can route the thermometer’s outdoor sensor outside.

Do not place the thermometer or remote sensor in direct sunlight.

Do not place the thermometer and sensor near electrical appliances or heating or air conditioning vents and radiators.

Do not place the thermometer in water or in a location where it is likely to get wet. Only the remote sensor and its cord are water-resistant.

To mount the thermometer on a wall, you need a screw (not supplied) with a head that fits into the keyhole slot on the back of the thermometer.

Mark the position of the screw hole, then drill a hole slightly smaller than the screw in the marked location. Using a screwdriver, drive the screw into the wall, letting the head extend 1/8-inch from the wall. Then align the keyhole slot on the back of the thermometer with the screw head, then carefully push the thermometer onto the screw head and slide it down into place.
