¥The contents transferred in MSC mode will not be seen in the PC with MTP mode selected on your device.

¥The contents transferred in MTP mode will not be seen in the PC with MSC mode selected on your device.

¥For Win XP users, your unit is connected in MTP mode to PC by default, those contents transferred in MTP mode can only be seen on a PC with Win XP and connected in MTP mode.

¥For Win 2000, Me, 98SE users, your unit is connected in MSC mode even setting in your device is in MTP mode.

¥Those contents transferred in MSC mode can only be seen on PC with MSC mode selected on your device.

What are MTP and MSC modes?

¥MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) mode is essential if you want to transfer DRM content to your player. In MTP mode your player will no longer show up as a drive letter. So programs that were designed to work with a device that shows up as a drive letter will not be able to work directly with the player. Only MSC (Mass Storage Class) mode is available if you are using Windows 2000. Any device connected to the PC will show up as a drive letter.
