How To Use

The revolutionary Vortex® Jet Speed dryer’s patented airflow gently lifts and surrounds your hair with comfortably heated air. Your hair dries more quickly and with less damage.

HOW TO USE:

After washing hair, blot with a towel. Never rub hair as this causes tangles. Brush or comb out any tangles.

Choose the heat and speed setting that best fits your hair type or styling technique.

Hold the dryer within 3 inches of the head in order for the Vortex® Jet Cone to enable the lift and dry airflow action.

The Vortex® jet cone can be removed for sectional and spot styling. Be sure the unit is turned off and unplugged from the outlet before removing the attachment.

Hold the dryer approximately 3” away from your hair for concentrated airflow for spot styling, (that is where the air streams meet at a common point).

Style and dry as normal using the Cold

Shot button to set longer-lasting styles.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

1.Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Return to Remington Customer Service.

2.Keep all intake openings clear of dust accumulation. See “Cleaning Instructions” below. No other maintenance or lubrication is required.

3.If the cord becomes twisted due to use, periodically straighten. Store appliance and cord where they will not be damaged. Do not wrap cord around dryer.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

1.The dryer needs minimum maintenance to ensure best performance and long life.

2.The intake grille should be cleaned regularly since a dirty or clogged grille will impair the efficiency of the dryer.

3.To clean grille, make sure dryer is turned off and plug is pulled out of socket. Gently pull the air inlet grille off the dryer and use a soft bristle brush to gently remove any particles that are lodged in grille openings. If unit is dirty, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Replace the air inlet by simply sliding it back on after cleaning.

STORAGE

When not in use, unplug the unit. Allow it to cool and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.

Never wrap cord around the appliance, as this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle cord carefully for long life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining, especially at plug connections.
