CDRH Regulations

 

 

This equipment complies with requirements of 21 CFR subchapter J for class I laser products. This

 

 

equipment contains two AlGaAs laser diodes, 6.2 milliwatts, 770 795 nanometer wavelength for

 

 

each emitter. The beam divergence angle is 25 degrees (minimum) and 38 degrees (maximum) in the

3

 

vertical direction, and 8 degrees (minimum) and 14 degrees (maximum) in the horizontal direction, and

 

 

 

laser beams are generated in Continuous Wave (CW) mode.

Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified in this manual

 

 

might result in hazardous radiation exposure.
