Protected/Grounded—Lights when the surge protection feature is working correctly and correct wiring is detected. If this LED does not light when initially plugged in, your surge protector has detected incorrect wiring. We recommend that you contact a certified, licensed electrician to inspect your wiring. If this light goes out, the surge protection feature has reached full capacity and can no longer absorb additional surges and spikes. We recommend replacing your surge protector.

Operating instructions

Plug your surge protector into a standard 120V AC outlet.

 

Note: Use the lower outlet if you want to use the upper outlet for

 

another power cord.

Plug one or two devices into your surge protector.

Connect the incoming coaxial cable source (i.e., the cable jack on

 

the wall or incoming satellite line) to the coaxial jack marked IN

 

on the surge protector.

4 Connect another coaxial cable to the cable OUT jack on your

 

surge protector and to the CABLE IN jack on the TV (when not
