Using the power adapter in a commercial airplane (DC) outlet

You can use the air connector when traveling in an airplane that provides a compatible in-seat power system. Some airlines provide a 12-volt DC cigarette socket instead of a special air connection. On these airlines, use the vehicle cigarette lighter connection. The AC/DC combo power adapter will power your netbook, but may not charge your netbook’s battery when used in an airplane.

To use the power adapter with an airline DC power source:

1Select your netbook manufacturer and model from the “Tip Compatibility Guide” (separate booklet), or go to www.rocketfishproducts.com and go to RF-NBACDCto find the Tip Wizard. This will let you determine the correct tip number for your netbook.

CAUTION: The use of an incorrect tip may damage your netbook. Do not use this product if you cannot locate your netbook model in the Tip Compatibility Guide included with this AC/DC adapter or by using the Tip Wizard at www.rocketfishproducts.com. If you still have questions, contact our toll-free help line for assistance (800) 620-2790. This AC/DC power adapter is not compatible with Mac computers.
