Attaching the Mount Bars and Clamps 1.
As shown in the figure, turn the satellite speakers over
and place them on the floor, then screw in the mount bars.
* To protect the satellite speakers cosmetic appearance, place
cloth or paper between the speakers and the floor surface when
attaching mount bars.
* You can screw in the mount bars with less force by inserting a
screwdriver or other rigid shaft into the holes in the side of the
mount bars and grasping and rotating the shaft to screw in the bars.
2.
Loosen the provided clamp screws to open the clamps.
3.
Attach the clamps to the pipe used for securing the
satellite speakers (diameter 1-1/2 inches / 38.1 mm), and
screw them tight enough to prevent them from slipping
down (provisionally tighten).
4.
Take the satellite speakers with the mount bars
attached to them and insert the ends of the mount bars
into the clamps provisionally tightened in Step 3.
5.
Slowly tighten the screws to firmly secure the clamps.
* To keep the units from separating and falling, secure the
mount bars in a position such that the ends of the mount bars
extend at least 20 mm (13/16 inch).
To prevent the satellite speakers from falling, release them only after confirming that they are firmly secured.
To prevent the satellite speakers from overturning, attach them so they are oriented perpendicular to the floor.
Take care not to allow hands and fingers to become pinched when attaching and removing the units.
