Installation and Set-Up
Please refer to the safety section first before proceeding with any installat ion
or configuration or the UltraMatrix AV DVI. It is recommended that the
following installation procedure be followed. All equipment (UltraMatr ix AV
DVI, Monitors, and PC’s) should be powered off until all cabling is
connected. Once UltraMatrix AV DVI learns the specific ations of the
connected monitors, they can be disconnected if needed and the computers
will still boot without a monitor connected. The figure below shows a typical
installation.

Installation consists of four steps:
1. Connect up to 8 video sources to the units DVI inputs
2. Connect up to 8 monitors to the units DVI outputs
3. Connect a remote computer to the units DB9 serial input
4. Install RoseControl software on the remote computer
