Step 1
Take the sliding r ail apart by sliding out the center slide.

Install the latches onto the front-side of the pillar of a rackmount cabinet.
Step 4 (type2)
Install the latches onto the profile of the pillar of a rackmount cabinet.
Step 5
Install the chassis with center slides to the cabinet by sliding into the outer slides.
