The Servo 550 excels in live performance use, recording studios and permanent installations. Easy to install, this 3-space rack-mount stereo power amplifier (which can also be used in bridged mono mode) delivers 275 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load (in bridged mono mode, 550 watts into 8 ohms), over a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 50 kHz. It utilizes high-current output power transistors and a unique bipolar circuit design that contin- uously keeps DC output during idling at or near 0 volts. The Servo 550 also features balanced 1/4" Tip-Ring-Sleeve inputs and both 1/4and binding post terminal outputs, front-panel clip, idle and protection lights plus thermal and overcurrent protection circuitry. The Servo 550 is con- vection cooled for silent operation, eliminating fan noise and the need for filter maintenance. Built rugged with a solid steel chassis, the Servo 550 is designed for reliable per- formance over the long haul.
