Using the Disc View Function

Index View (VCD)
Displays the beginning view of each track and
the track number.

UP/DOWN or LEFT/RIGHT buttons.

Press the ENTER button.
• In stop mode on VCD, press the TOP MENU button and the TRACK VIEW will be dis-
played.
• When pressing the TOP MENU button with a DVD;the disc’s TITLE MENU function
comes up.A disc must have at least two titles for the TITLE MENU function to work.
• When pressing the TOP MENU button with a CD;the unit enters the INTRO mode.
INTRO lets you listen to the beginning of each track for about 10 seconds.
• When in VCD 1.1 & 2.0 mode(MENU OFF mode), this function works.

Program Playback in a Specific Order
NOTE
To start PROGRAM playback

Press the MODE button on the remote.
- The message, “Reading disc information...Please wait”
appears.
- You can also use the PROGRAM button on the front of the
player.

Use the LEFT/RIGHT button to select
PROGRAM.Press the ENTER button.

Select disc 2 and press the ENTER
button.
- Press the Disk Skip button to select a disk number you want.

Use the LEFT/RIGHT or UP/DOWN
button to select chapter 05 and press
ENTER.Then select chapter 07 and
press ENTER again.
- Press the RETURN button to select the another disc.
Repeat steps 3 and 4.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.The disc
will be played back in programmed order.
To start RANDOM playback

Press the MODE button.
Use the LEFT/RIGHT button to select
RANDOM and press the ENTER button.

Press the RANDOM button on the front
of the player.The random information
will appear.Select DISC, ALL DISCS or
OFF using the LEFT/RIGHT button.

The disc will be played back in random
order.
- The RANDOM function doesn’t work on a DVD disc.

• To resume normal playback,
press the CLEAR button.

chapters or tracks on a disc only.
