:Uued failid nimetatakse järjestikuste numbritega, isegi kui kasutatakse uut mälukaarti, kui vorminda-takse või pärast kõikide piltide kustutamist.

-Esimese salvestatud kausta nimi on 100SSCAM ning esimese faili nimi SDC10001.

-Failinimed määratakse järjest, alustades nimest SDC10001

jätkates nimedega SDC10002 ~ SDC19999.

- Kaustanumber määratakse järjest, numbriks on 100 kuni 999 järgmiselt: 100SSCAM 101SSCAM ~ 999SSCAM.

-Ühes kaustas saab maksimaalselt olla 9999 faili.

-Mälukaardiga kasutatud failid vastavad DCF (Design rule for Camera File systems) vormingule. Kui muudate pildifaili nime, ei pruugi pildi taasesitus olla enam võimalik.
