ACB (Automaattinen kontrastin säätö)

Tämä ominaisuus parantaa kuvien kontrastia automaattisesti kohteen ollessa taustavalaistu ja kohteen ja taustan välillä vallitessa terävä kontrasti.

AEB (Automaattinen valotusalue)

Tämä ominaisuus ottaa automaattisesti useita kuvia eri valotusarvoilla ja auttaa siten asianmukaisesti valotettujen kuvien otossa.

AF (Automaattinen tarkennus)

Järjestelmä, joka tarkentaa kameran objektiivin kohteeseen automaattisesti. Kamera tarkentaa automaattisesti kontrastin avulla.

Aukko

Aukko säätelee sitä, paljonko valoa kameran sensoriin pääsee.

Kameran tärinä (Sumennus)

Jos kameraa liikutetaan sulkimen ollessa auki, koko kuva saattaa näyttää sumuiselta. Näin tapahtuu useiten suljinnopeuden ollessa matala. Voit estää kameran tärinää suurentamalla herkkyyttä, käyttämällä salamavaloa tai käyttämällä nopeaa suljinnopeutta. Voit myös käyttää kameran stabilointiin kolmijalkaa tai DIS- tai OIS-toimintoa.

Rakenne

Sommittelulla tarkoitetaan valokuvauksessa kuvan kohteiden järjestelemistä. Kolmanneksien säännön noudattaminen tuottaa tavallisesti hyvän sommittelun.

DCF (Kameran tiedostojärjestelmän suunnittelusääntö)

Standardi, jolla määritetään digitaalikameran tiedostomuoto ja tiedostojärjestelmä, jonka on kehittänyt Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA).

Syvätarkkuus

Se lähimmän ja kaukaisimman pisteen välinen matka, joka voidaan tarkentaa hyväksyttävästi valokuvassa. Syvätarkkuus riippuu linssin aukosta, polttovälistä ja kameran etäisyydestä kohteesta. Esimerkiksi pienemmän aukon valinta kasvattaa syvätarkkuutta ja sumentaa rakenteen taustaa.

Digitaalinen zoom

Ominaisuus, joka kasvattaa zoomausobjektiivin zoomauksen määrää (optinen zoom). Kun käytät digitaalista zoomia, kuvanlaatu heikkenee suurennuksen kasvaessa.
