Hodnota clony

Clona udává velikost otvoru, jímž prochází světlo. Nastavením hodnoty clony řídíte množství světla, které projde objektivem při pořízení snímku. Snížením hodnoty clony (otevřením clony) zvětšíte množství světla, sníží se však hloubka ostrosti a vzdálenější objekty vyjdou neostré. To je vhodné pro snímky blízkých objektů nebo pro portréty, kdy je třeba zdůraznit hlavní objekt snímku.

Naopak zvětšením clony dosáhnete zaostření všech objektů v širokém rozsahu vzdáleností. To je užitečné zejména u fotografií krajin, které zachytí ostře celou scénu.
