Videokameraet fokuserer vanligvis automatisk på objektet (autofokus). Når videokameraet blir slått på, vil autofokus alltid være aktivert. Du kan også justere fokuseringen manuelt, avhengig a innspillingsbetingelsene.

Fokus : Auto

Auto: I de fleste situasjoner er det best å bruke automatisk fokusering, ettersom det gjør deg i stand til å konsentrere deg om den kreative siden av opptaket.

Manuelt: Manuell fokusering kan være nødvendig under visse forhold som gjør bruk av automatisk fokusering vanskelig og/eller upålitelig. For å justere fokus, plasserer og holder du fingeren på for nærmere motiv, og på for motiv som er lenger

unna. Nærmere- eller lenger unna-ikonet ( / ) vises i midten når fokusjusteringen når enden. Den justerte verdien anvendes

rett etter at du har trykket på eller .

AF-funksjonen er nyttig når du bruker zoomfunksjonen, fordi det kan være at du ikke greier å holde et nøyaktig fokuspunkt etter at zoomforholdet har blitt endret.

Når videokameraet går ut av manuelt modus, eller bytter til fotograferingsmodus, blir fokuseringsfunksjonen automatisk satt til Auto.
