Lyden blir høyere jo nærmere +6dB du kommer, og lavere jo nærmere -6dB du kommer.

Forsinkelse

Hvis du ikke kan plassere høyttalerne i samme avstand til lytteposisjonen, kan du justere forsinkelsen til lydsignalet fra senter- og bakhøyttalerne.

Når du spiller av 5.1-kanals surroundlyd, vil du få best lyd når avstanden mellom deg og hver høyttaler er den samme.
