Configuración del tipo de pantalla de TV

Dependiendo del tipo de TV (pantalla panorámica o 4:3 convencional), puede seleccionar la relación de altura/anchura del TV.

1.En el modo de detención, pulse el botón MENU.

2.Pulse la tecla % para mover el cursor a Setup y luego pulse la tecla

ENTER

3.Pulse la tecla % para mover el cursor a TV DISPLAY y luego pulse la tecla ENTER.

4.Pulse la tecla $,% para seleccionar el ítem deseado y luego pulse la tecla ENTER.

•Una vez que se ha completado la configuración, pasará a la pantalla anterior.

dPulse la tecla RETURN para regresar al nivel anterior.

dPulse la tecla EXIT para salir de la pantalla de configuración.

Ajuste de la relación de aspecto de la TV (Tamaño de la pantalla)

La relación de la dimensión horizontal con respecto a la vertical en la pantalla de una TV convencional es de 4:3, mientras que en la de una TV de pantalla ancha o de alta definición es de 16:9. Esta relación es denominada relación de aspecto. Cuando reproduzca un DVD grabado en un formato de tamaño de

pantalla diferente, debe ajustar la relación de aspecto para que se adapte a su TV o monitor.

Para una TV estándar, seleccione la opción 4:3LB o la 4:3PS según su preferencia. Seleccione WIDE si tiene una TV de pantalla ancha.

4:3PS (4:3 Pan&Scan)

Seleccione esta opción para reproducir una imagen 16:9 en el modo pan & scan de una TV convencional.

•Ud puede visualizar la parte central de la pantalla solamente (con los lados de la imagen 16:9 cortados).

4:3LB (4:3 Letterbox)

Seleccione esta opción para reproducir una imagen 16:9 en el modo buzón de una TV convencional.

•Aparecerán franjas negras en las partes superior e inferior de la pantalla.

WIDE

Seleccione esta opción para ver una imagen 16:9 en el modo de pantalla completa de su TV de pantalla ancha.

•Ud. puede disfrutar el aspecto de pantalla ancha.

MM`` Si un DVD está en formato 4:3, usted no podrá verlo en pantalla ancha.

`` Ya que los discos DVD están grabados en varios formatos de imagen, se visualizarán de diferentes formas dependiendo del software, el tipo de TV, y el ajuste de relación de aspecto de la TV.
