A HDR használatának előfeltétele:

1Ha HDR-t támogató videokártyát használ egy HDR-t támogató játékkal együtt, és a készülék HDMI/ DP/MINI DP portjához végzi a csatlakoztatást, akkor ez lehetővé teszi a HDR effektust.

――Látogasson el a gyártók weboldalaira, hogy ellenőrizhesse, hogy a videokártya és a játék támogatja-e a HDR-t. Bizonyos esetekben a videokártya illesztőprogramnak, illetve a játékfrissítéseknek a legújabb verzióit kell telepíteni a HDR effektus engedélyezéséhez.
