Hiện tượng Lưu ảnh là gì?

Hiện tượng lưu ảnh có thể không xảy ra khi màn hình LCD đang sử dụng ở điều kiện bình thường.

Điều kiện bình thường nghĩa là điều kiện các hiển thị trên màn hình thay đổi liên tục. Khi màn hình LCD hoạt động trong một thời gian dài ở chế độ tĩnh (trên 12 giờ), có thể có một ít chênh lệch về điện thế giữa hai điện cực bao quanh tinh thể lỏng (LC) trong một điểm ảnh. Sự chênh lệch điện thế giữa các cực sẽ gia tăng theo thời gian, làm cho tinh thể lỏng đọng lại. Nếu xảy ra hiện tượng này, thì hình ảnh trước đó có thể bị lưu lại khi tín hiệu đã thay đổi. Để tránh hiện tượng này, phải làm giảm sự chênh lệch điện thế.
