1. Itse tehty erikoispiirteiden tarkistus

Monitorissasi on itse tehtävä testaustoiminto, jolla voit tarkistaa, toimiiko monitorisi kunnolla.

1.Katkaise virta sekä tietokoneesta että monitorista.

2.Irrota videokaapeli tietokoneen takaa.

3.Kytke monitori päälle.

Alla oleva kuva ("Check Signal Cable") näkyy mustalla taustalla, kun näyttö on normaalitilassa, mutta ei vastaanota videosignaalia: Kun näyttö on itsetestaustilassa, virtamerkkivalo palaa vihreänä ja näytössä liikkuu kuvio.

Jos mikään laatikoista ei ilmesty, se osoittaa, että monitorissasi on ongelma. Tämä laatikko ilmestyy myös normaalikäytössä, mikäli videokaapeli lähtee irti tai vahingoittuu.

2.Skaalaus alaspäin

1.Kun pystysuora taajuus on 76-85 hz tai tarkkuus on UXGA(1600x1200), näytöllä näkyy seuraava viesti, jonka aikana näyttöä voidaan tarkastella minuutin ajan. Sen jälkeen näyttöä ei voi enää tarkastella, ja asetus pitää vaihtaa optimaaliseksi.

2.Kun pystysuora taajuus on yli 86 hz, näytöllä ei näy mitään seuraava viestiä lukuun ottamatta. Käynnistä järjestelmä tässä tapauksessa uudelleen ja muuta näytön asetuksia.
