Kitaip nei CDT, LCD monitoriuje galima pasirinkti optimalią skyrą geriausiai vaizdo kokybei užtikrinti priklausomai nuo ekrano dydžio ir paviršiaus.

Todėl vaizdo kokybė pablogėja, jei nenustatyta optimali skyra pagal ekrano dydį. Rekomenduojama nustatyti optimalią produkto skyrą.

Jei kompiuterio signalas yra vienas šių standartinių signalo režimų, ekranas nustatomas automatiškai. Tačiau jei kompiuterio signalas nėra vienas šių standartinių signalo režimų, gali būti rodomas tuščias ekranas arba įsijungti tik maitinimo LED. Todėl konfigūruokite jį pagal grafinės plokštės vartotojo vadovą.

Ekranas turi rodyti tą patį vaizdą dešimtis kartų į sekundę, kad žmonės galėtų jį matyti. Šis dažnis vadinamas vertikaliu dažniu. Vertikalus dažnis išreiškiamas Hz.
