1.Server Name

Under Options (alternativer) kan du angi servernavnet for tilkoblingsinformasjonen. Serverne og skjermene er koblet sammen via nettverket, og har unike navn som identifiserer dem. For normal tilkobling må servernavnet på skjermen og serveren stemme overens. Det vil si at hvis en server har navnet "MagicNet", vil bare skjermer hvor servernavnet er angitt som "MagicNet" kunne kobles til den. Når det ikke finnes noen server med det navnet som er angitt i skjermen, vil den vente til det vises en server med det angitte navnet. Hvis funksjonen for automatisk tilkobling er på, vil skjermen imidlertid prøve å koble seg til andre servere, og den vil bli koblet til den første serveren som svarer.

2.User Account (brukerkonto)

Når du installerer MagicNet for første gang, får du opp administratorkontoen med det passordet du angir.

Når du legger til en konto, kan du velge mellom tre kontotyper, og den valgte kontotypen definerer i hvilket omfang kontoinnehaveren kan bruke funksjonene i MagicNet. Du kan endre eller slette kontoer for eksisterende brukere i tillegg til å legge til nye brukere.
