Sender und Empfänger dürfen nicht weiter als 50 cm von einander entfernt sein.

BIOS-Setup

Für das korrekte Funktionieren dieser Option müssen die entsprechenden Einstellungen im BIOS-Setup vorgenommen werden.

1.Drücken Sie beim Hochfahren die Taste <F2>, um das System-Setupzu öffnen.

2.Drücken Sie die Taste <Richtiger Pfeil>, um das Menü Advanced CMOS Setup aufzurufen.

3.Markieren Sie die Option I/O Device Configuration mit den Tasten <Auf Pfeil> oder <Unter Pfeil>, und drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste>.

4.Markieren Sie den FIR-Anschluss mit der Taste <Auf Pfeil> oder <Unter Pfeil>.

5.Drücken Sie die Umschalttaste und die Taste [+], bis die Option den Wert Enabled hat.

6.Drücken Sie die Taste <Esc>, um zum Menü Exit zurückzukehren.

7.Drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste> oder <F10>, um das Fenster zu schließen und die Einstellungen zu übernehmen.

Windows-Setup

1.Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf Arbeitsplatz.

2.Wählen Sie Eigenschaften, um das Fenster Eigenschaften von System zu öffnen.

3.Klicken Sie auf die Registerkarte Hardware. Klicken Sie im Bereich Geräte- Manager auf die Schaltfläche Geräte-Manager.

4.Doppelklicken Sie im Bereich Infrarotgeräte.

5.Doppelklicken Sie auf IrDA – schneller Infrarotanschluss, um das entsprechende Eigenschaftenfenster zu öffnen.

6.Klicken Sie auf die Registerkarte Erweitert, und nehmen Sie folgende Einstellungen vor.

•Wählen Sie im Bereich Eigenschaften den Eintrag Infrarottransceiver A aus.

•Wählen Sie im Bereich Wert den Eintrag Vishay TFDS-6500aus.

7.Klicken Sie auf OK.
