OPS (Optical Picture Stabilisation)

Camera shake can be caused by many factors, such as hand shaking, zooming or insufficient light. Optical Picture Stabilisation (OPS) uses an image sensor shift mechanism that moves the sensors in the opposite direction to the movement of the lens (caused by camera shake) in order to correct the shake. Another superior Samsung innovation, OPS corrects even the tiniest of shakes.

* Not available on all models

ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction)

The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour sometimes common in flash photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all. It guarantees brighter and more natural pictures.
