Section 3: Call Functions
This section explains the features and functionality associated with making and
answering calls.

Making a Call — Number Entry Dialing

1. In standby mode, touch the
Dialer
soft key to
display the touch keypad.
2. Enter the number you wish to call.
3. Touch or the
Voice Call
soft key to place
the call.
Dialing Emergency Numbers
When you call an Emergency Number, such as 911,
your phone locks itself in emergency mode, only
allowing you to make calls to the emergency call
center you originally contacted. This enables
emergency operators to more easily dispatch aid.
1. In standby mode, touch the
Dialer
soft key to display the touch keypad.
2. Enter 911. Touch or the
Voice Call
soft key to place the call.

Manual Pause Calling
When you call automated systems (like banking services), you can add special
characters called pauses to accomodate passwords or account numbers.
Wait
— Hard Pause — Stops the calling sequence until you touch .
2-Sec Pause
— Stops the calling sequence for two seconds and then automatically sends
the remaining digits.
