3 Recording a video

Rotate the mode dial to 3.

Set a frame rate or sound option.

Set other options.

Press [Shutter].

Press [Shutter] again to stop recording.
The zoom sound may be recorded if you use the zoom while
recording a video.
Setting the frame rate
A frame rate is the number of frames per second. As the frame rate
increases, action appears more natural, but the file size is increased.

Press [Fn].

Press [w] or [r] to select FRAME RATE.

Press [e] or [t] to select a frame rate.

Press [MENU/OK].
Setting sound options

Press [MENU/OK].

Select Voice Mute.

Option Description
Off Record a video without sound.
Zoom Mute Record a video without sound while zooming.
On Record a video with sound.

Press [MENU/OK].

Press [Shutter] to return to Shooting mode.
Pausing while recording
The camera allows you to pause temporarily while recording a video.
With this function, you can record your favorite scenes as a single
video.
Press [r] to pause while recording.
Press [r] again to resume.
