On charging the built-in rechargeable battery

The built-in rechargeable battery is automatically charged while the camcorder is turned on.

Use your camcorder after charging the built-in rechargeable battery. If the built-in rechargeable battery is not charged, any input data will not be backed up and the date/time appears on the screen as "01/01/ 2008 00:00" (when "Date/Time" display is set to "On").

After setting, the date and time are automatically recorded on a special data area of the storage media.
