Maintaining the Washing Machine
Cleaning the detergent drawer and recess
1.P ress the release lever on the insid e of the detergent drawer and pull it out.
2.R em ove the cap from com partm ent

3.W ash allofthe parts u nd er ru nning w ater.
4.C lean the d raw er recess w ith an old toothbru sh.
5.Reinsert the cap (Pushing it firmly into place) and replace the liquid detergent divider into the drawer.
6.P u sh the d raw er back into place.
7.R u n a rinse program w ithou tany lau nd ry in the d ru m .
Cleaning the debris filter
Clean the debris filter 5 or 6 times a year, or when you see the following error message on the display:
1.O pen the
2.U nscrew em ergency d rain cap by tu rning leftand d rain offallthe w ater. See "Draining the washing machine in an emergency" on page 12.
3.U nscrew the filter cap and take itou t.
4.W ash any d irtor other m aterialfrom the filter. M ake su re the d rain pu m p p ropeller behind the filter is not blocked. Replace the filter cap.
